Who are we?

Sidlesham is a village situated to the South of Chichester within the Manhood peninsular on the B 2145. It has a population of 2000+ and approximately 450 dwellings.

The purposes of the association are to:-

1. Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the civil parish of Sidlesham and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, nationality, age, disability, race or of political religious or other opinions. 2. By associating together the said inhabitants and the statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions for life of the inhabitants.

3. Establish, or secure the establishment, of a Community Centre and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in cooperation with any local authority or other person or body) in furtherance of these objects.

4. Promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.

The Association shall be non-party and non-sectarian in religion.
